Fluiten API‑682 mechanical seals are
precision‑engineered cartridge mechanical
seal solutions designed and tested in
accordance with the API 682 4th edition
standard for use on API 610 or ASME B73.1/ B73.2 pumps,
offering single, double and metal bellows
configurations with auxiliary flushing or
containment options to support reliable sealing
performance across demanding industrial applications.
Available in balanced single pusher seals with fixed, floating or segmented auxiliary bushes, dual balanced double pusher arrangements, metal bellows designs including high‑temperature and containment variants, and gas lift‑off seals with Fluilift technology, the API‑682 range is suited for critical applications in chemical, petrochemical, refinery, energy and related sectors where robust leakage control and compatibility with API pump plans are essential.
Single Pusher
Single pusher balanced mechanical seals according to standard API682, 4th edition. For API610 or ASME B73.1; B73.2 pumps, cartridge mounted to be fitted on new pumps or retrofitting. Auxilliary fixed, floating or segmented auxiliary bush, for leakage control or auxiliary flushing.
Cat. 1; Type A; Arr. 1CW-FX/1CW-FL: seal with protected springs and fixed or floating auxiliary bushing, suitable for dirty liquids and with suspended solids.
Cat. 1; Type A; Arr. 1CW-FX/1CW-FL: seal with robust drive system for high stress, fixed or floating auxiliary bushing.
Cat. 2&3; Type A; Arr. 1CW-FL: seal with robust drive system for high stress, floating or segmented auxiliary bushing.
Narrow face option for light hydrocarbons services.
Eng.; Type A; Arr. 1NC-FL: seal designed for VS4 pumps or as a backup seal for magnetic drive pumps. Suitable for dry- running applications.
Double Pusher
Double pusher mechanical seal dual balanced according to standard API682, 4th edition for standard API610 or ASME B73.1; B73.2 pumps, cartridge mounted to be fitted on new pumps or retrofitting, high-efficiency internal circulating device.

Single Pusher With Secondary Contaiment
Single pusher with secondary containment mechanical seals, according to standard API682, 4th edition, for API610 or ASME B73.1; B73.2 pumps. Secondary seal developed with Fluigrid technology enables emissions control without the need for auxiliary liquid. Cartridge mounted to be fitted on new pumps or retrofitting.
Seal with multiple springs, standardized according to UNI-EN 12756.
Stationary ring variant "R” type.

Single bellows balanced mechanical seals according to standard API682, 4th edition. For API610 or ASME B73.1; B73.2 pumps, cartridge mounted to be fitted on new pumps or retrofitting. Auxiliary fixed, floating or segmented auxiliary bush, for leakage control or auxiliary flushing.

Gas Lift Off Fluilift Seals
Double mechanical seal designed for gas pressurization in accordance with API682 IV edition for installation on API610 or ASME B73.1; B73.2 pumps. Sliding faces made with Fluilift technology ensure zero atmospheric emissions. No auxiliary liquid required. Cartridge mounted to be fitted on new pumps or retrofitting.
